SHORT STAY - VISA EXEMPTION FOR TONGA, KIRIBATI AND TUVALU

Tonga

The Embassy of France in Suva would like to inform the public about the Schengen visa waiver agreement signed between the Kingdom of Tonga and the European Union effective November 21st, 2015.

The new visa regime allows citizens of Kiribati to be exempted of visa for the entry and a short stay in the Schengen area (stay not exceeding 90 days within a six month period).

Citizens of Tonga who plan to engage in a remunerated activity in France should nevertheless be provided with a temporary work permit when the French legislation requires .

The visa requirement for long stay in France however remains the same (over 90 days)

Kiribati

The new visa regime allows citizens of Kiribati to be exempted of visa for the entry and a short stay in the Schengen area (stay not exceeding 90 days within a six month period).

Citizens of Kiribati who plan to engage in a remunerated activity in France should nevertheless be provided with a temporary work permit when the French legislation requires.

The visa requirement for long stay in France however remains the same (over 90 days)

Tuvalu

The new visa regime allows citizens of Tuvalu to be exempted of visa for the entry and a short stay in the Schengen area (stay not exceeding 90 days within a six month period).

Citizens of Tuvalu who plan to engage in a remunerated activity in France should nevertheless be provided with a temporary work permit when the French legislation requires .

The visa requirement for long stay in France however remains the same (over 90 days)
